ABOUT Zvika Matzkin


Zvika Matzkin obtained his LLB and LLM magna cum laude from the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law.

As a student, he served as editor of the Tel Aviv University Law Review. Mr. Matzkin also served as a research assistant in the field of inheritance law, teaching assistant in a course on unjust enrichment, and worked in the Legal Consultancy Department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

He subsequently interned at a major Israeli law firm and clerked for Hon. Justice Yoram Danziger at the Supreme Court of Israel.

After his certification as an attorney, Mr. Matzkin clerked at the District Court and then returned to the chambers of Supreme Court Justice Danziger as a senior law clerk. During his tenure at the Supreme Court, he co-authored an influential article on contract law with Hon. Justice Danziger.

Mr. Matzkin serves as joint chairman of the Tel Aviv District Committee for Mediation and Conflict Resolution of the Israel Bar Association and as a prosecutor for the district ethics committee. He also serves as an arbitrator in complex commercial and real-estate disputes.

Among Mr. Matzkin’s specializations are real estate, foreign arbitration, class actions, inheritance and estate claims and a special expertise in representing clients before appellate courts.
